Ivan Anchânt

He began his musical career at the tender age of 8, starting on the organ, followed by the trumpet, progressing onto piano, then eventually to songwriting, composition and then the drums in his teenage years.

After completing a degree in Commercial Music at the University of Westminster, at the age of 21, he began working for a European music licensing company. Very soon his songs were being played in hotels, bars and McDonalds restaurants throughout Austria, Germany and Belgium. His proudest moment. ;-)

In 2003, together with his wife, Katy, he founded production house, GotMusic, where he began producing and writing with new young artists. This was followed by an in-house label, Giant Records, in 2005. In the meantime he played with many bands and got himself known as one of the best beatboxers in the country during his time with Lucy9mm.

As well as producing for many dance and pop acts, he also gained a reputation on the world music scene, producing artists like Asian Music Award nominees Shekie and Sham, Ugandan singer and MOAMA nominee Beatrice Kateme-Byakika and Islamic singer Asif Choudhury.

Now operating from his own custom-built studio in North London, Ivan continues to write and produce, compose and perform and is still very much in demand by both experienced and aspiring artists.

His recent work includes hits with YouTube sensation, Shardinay and Asian music star, Sham D, with iTunes top 40 and top 20 chart positions respectively, with many more releases already scheduled.

Ivan is a friendly and intuitive producer who prides himself on his ability to fully realise the musical needs of whoever he is working with.

His charges are £40 per hour or £280 for an 8-hour day.

He performs trumpet, piano/keyboards, vocals and beatbox.
